Coolshop is one of the biggest online retailers in Denmark and Europe. Coolshop has established themselves as the go to shop for everything, with more than 35.000 products and billions in revenue. With such scale, a clear problem emerges: It’s extremely hard to develop personal shopping experiences to every single customer.

Their automated emails like Abandoned Cart and Viewed Product had to be generic, to fit an extremely broad customer base.
That’s why the team, Louise and Maria, looked towards AI that could help solve their personalization problem.
They created an account in Alvas, and used the standard Viewed Product template, to set up their first email.
From that, they started tweaking the prompts to their tone of voice. They wanted a light hearted, playfull tone that would talk about how each individual product could be used in a happy setting.
Then they connected Alvas with their Klaviyo account, where their flows are triggered by Raptor.
Using Raptors triggers, allowed them to customize what data Alvas can receive, which made it possible to send over Product Discount data. With that data Alvas can write about the discount in real time, if it is on sale.
And finally, they had the perfect setup for writing personalized emails at scale, to every single customer.

And the test showed amazing results:
The Conversion Rate increased by 55%
The Revenue Per Email sent increased by 95% (that’s nearly double up)
The Click Rate increased by 75%
From these test results they decided to scale out Alvas to all their markets.
They beauty of working with AI, was that Alvas can auto translate making scaling Alvas even easier than setting up the first email.
